Having been born and raised in El Paso, artist Boyd Elder was naturally influenced by West Texas culture and its Native American and Mexican roots. He is perhaps best known for creating the cover art for two mega hit albums by The Eagles that feature painted and adorned bull and eagle skulls. Fascinated by visual concepts and the “molecular structure” of objects, Elder has been creating for over six decades. Handmade on demand in Austin, this print is framed in 100% American maple with standard acrylic glazing and includes pre-installed hanging hardware.
