He furthered his education by studying at Parsons School of Design in New York City. His most recent works are inspired by nature and the world around us. "As a little boy growing up, our backyard was my paradise. A variety of flowers, fruit trees, flora, mysterious beauty and secrets were extremely attractive to me. Studying every petal, stigma, texture, color and beauty opened an amazing world in my mind that inspires me and has stayed with me throughout my life. I have lived and worked in many countries around the world and nature has always been a place that calmed me down and gave me a feeling of being home even though I am far away from my childhood backyard."  Alexander has participated in many group and solo art exhibitions in New York, Sweden, Denmark and Shanghai and is currently working on commissioned projects in the United States.
